WOMEN OF VIRTUE: KAELY REED, ASSISTANT TAP ROOM MANAGER

In honor of Women’s History Month this March, we are featuring some of the women who make up Virtue Cider. These women work in production, commercial, and farming operations; all are a part of every glass of Virtue Cider. Take a moment to learn a bit about what they all do, and if you see any of them at Virtue, please say hello! Here is Kaely Reed, our assistant Tap Room manager.

Kaely Reed, Assistant Tap Room Manager

How long have you been at Virtue Cider and what is your role?

Started July ’18, assistant Tap Room manager.

What is your background?

I was born on the east side of Michigan, grew up on the west side in Allendale. I moved four minutes away from Virtue and fell in love with the area (and cider) immediately!

What do you like about working at Virtue Cider?

I love the animals, the cider, the crew!

About being a woman in your industry:

I’m proud to be one. The smartest people I know are the women I’m surrounded by.

What’s your favorite cider?

Long-gone Aardbei, SO GOOOOOD! Currently it’d have to be Plumsberger.

Fun fact:

Shoutout to my two cats, Camelot and Lili Pad!

Stay tuned for our next installment of Women of Virtue! International Women’s Day is March 8.
