The queen of our Thanksgiving box is Rosalita, a dry rosé cider aged in French oak barrels, and aged on a second wash of heirloom Schaerbeek cherries to pick up a beautiful light hue, as well as just a hint of cherry in the nose. While Rosalita is versatile enough to complement nearly every dish on your table, we love to start our meal with it paired with brie and figs. Plus, a portion of Rosalita sales supports World Central Kitchen, a non-profit that harnesses the power of food to heal and strengthen communities in times of crisis and beyond.
Northern Spy and Yarlington Mill are both ideal for your main course. This balanced duo combines the tartness of Northern Spy apples, known for their sharp, acid-forward character, with the richness of Yarlington Mill apples, which offer delightful tannins and a full mouthfeel. Each complement your turkey, whether smoked, roasted or deep fried.
Kriek '21 is an excellent choice to finish your meal. This full-bodied cherry cider is deep red and slightly effervescent, bursting with stone fruit flavors and subtle oak notes from barrel aging. Peter Klein of Seedling Orchard grows tiny, tart Schaerbeek cherries just for Virtue. Pair it with cherry or a pecan pie à la mode.
