Naperville Ale Fest




The second annual Naperville Ale Fest will take place on Saturday, July 19, 2014 and will showcase over 200 unique beers from craft breweries around the country. The fest will also feature live music and food from some of Naperville’s favorite restaurants. Situated on the grounds of the Naper Settlement, with downtown Naperville as a backdrop, it is the ideal setting to experience craft beer. A portion of the proceeds from the Naperville Ale Fest will benefit the Naper Settlement and the Naperville Heritage Society.

Whether or not one has a green thumb, the iconic Sheffield Garden Walk, celebrating its 46th year in 2014, is inspirational, dreamy and motivational. It’s a unique way to savor a summer weekend in the city!

More than 80 of the neighborhood’s lush residential gardens will again be open for the public to explore. There are both self-guided garden tours, and guided architecture tours. Visitors are always amazed at the creativity of urban green spaces on splendid display.

Presented by the Sheffield Neighborhood Association, the weekend also includes cool music acts, food, and plenty of nifty afternoon activities for kids and families.

The Arranmore Ale Fest will be a vaudeville inspired showcase – the heart of American Showbiz past meets today’s American Craft Beer. A variety of entertainment acts and craft beer brought together under one billing: The Arranmore Ale Fest.

The inaugural fest will take place on Saturday, June 28, 2014.  Situated on the fields of Arranmore Farm and Polo Club, the fest will feature over 80 unique craft beers, food from some of Chicago’s favorite food trucks, and vaudeville inspired performance acts.

The goal of the Arranmore Ale Fest is to showcase American craft beer while supporting the arts.  A portion of the proceeds from the fest will benefit ArranmoreArts and other local charities.
