The second annual Lisle Ale Fest will take place on Saturday, September 27, 2014.  The fest will be a trifecta of American Craft Beer, Food & Live Music. It will feature over 80 unique beers from craft breweries around the country and one of the largest selection of Oktoberfest beers in the area.

logoEnjoy Oswego’s craft beer festival along the Fox River this September! Craft beer enthusiasts are welcome to sample those beers from the Midwest area. The festival will feature breweries who have earned top reputations in the Chicagoland area as well as emerging breweries whose stellar kegs are ready to pave a new trail. Those invited breweries will have staff at the festival to answer questions about their selections. Guests can also enjoy live music in the shady park of Hudson Crossing in downtown Oswego Brew at The Bridge will also feature food which serves as the perfect compliment to a cold craft beer on a sunny afternoon.

- The inaugural Chicago Ale Fest scheduled to take place this weekend in Grant Park is postponed until next summer. Festival organizers made the decision Monday morning, Sept. 15 and cite impending bad weather and financial concerns as reasons for calling off the event. Anyone who has purchased a ticket is entitled to a full refund.

Join Virtue Cider at the Great Lakes Brew Fest. Now in its 9th year, the festival will feature unlimited sampling of more than 250 craft beers, ciders, and sodas from nearly 100 makers on the beautiful shore of Lake Michigan. All paid attendees will receive a souvenir tasting glass. Food served by local restaurants will be available for purchase. The festival also features live music including performances by the world renowned Kilties Drum and Bugle Corps.
